Purchase supplies.  \nSupplies:  \n• Dulcolax (generic – Bisacodyl)  \n• MiraLAX (generic – Polyethylene Glycol) 255 gram bottle  \n• Gatorade 64oz (no red, purple, orange, nor Gatorade Frost) . May have any flavor Gatorade Ice.  \n5 days prior to colonoscopy:  \nNo red beets or any food that contains seeds, nuts, peas or corn.  \nDay before Colonoscopy:  \n1. Drink clear liquids only (no milk products nor juices with pulp) . Clear liquids include water, clear juice, clear sports drinks, clear soda, chicken or beef broth, gelatin, popsicles, black coffee and tea.  \n2. At 3:00pm take (2) Dulcolax tablets  \n3. At 5:00pm mix the MiraLAX 255 grams in Gatorade. Shake the solution until the MiraLAX is fully dissolved. You may refrigerate for half an hour. Divide the prepin half, 32oz each.  \n4. Drink half (32oz) of the MiraLAX-Gatorade mixture. Drink an 8oz glass of mixture every 10 to 15 minutes until solution is gone.  \n5. If you are diabetic, please check your blood sugar at regular intervals.  \n6. Do not eat anything after midnight. This includes hard candy, breath mints, lozenges and chewing gum. No smoking after midnight.
