Across five rounds, players dispatch parties of hirelings to multiple locations to perform tasks, gain rewards, and disrupt enemy efforts. Players also repair damage after each raid, recruit distinctive heroes, improve dragon companion attributes, lead garrison assaults, and aim for the strongest end-game glory while managing a flame For centuries, we have lived in harmony with these majestic creatures under the wise guidance of the Dragon Ambassador, appointed by the King. \nBut just weeks ago, a sinister fleet arrived from the Distant Lands, carrying ruthless poachers intent on capturing as many dragons as possible and selling them to the merchants of those savage realms. They have established a camp on the island’s farthest shore, plotting their cruel hunt. \nThe King could not stand idly by as these magnificent beings fell into the hands of marauders. He sent his bravest champions to Emberheart to aid the Ambassador, free the captured dragons, and hinder the poachers' plans. \nAs one of the King’s champions, your mission is clear: rescue and protect the dragons at all costs. And if you achieve the greatest Glory in the process, the King will grant you the honor of becoming the next Dragon Ambassador. \n4 Player boards \n(1 per player color) \n4 Dragon Companion meeples \n(1 per player color) \n20 Crest tokens \n(5 per player color) \n4 Flame markers \n(1 per player color) \n4 Aide tokens \n1 First player marker \n12 Attribute markers \n(4 per Attribute color) \n12 Two player mode 1 Scoring pad cards \n50 Grunt tokens \n35 Scout tokens \n30 Ranger tokens \n30 Warden tokens \n35 Gear tokens \n1 Main board \n45 Dragon cards 15 Preserve cards 1 Round marker \n30 Mountain Dragon 15 Captive Dragon cards cards \n10 Raid cards 15 Tavern cards 15 Garrison cards 27 Hero cards \nSETUP \n1.
