Artistsduring a talent contest.She had a successful showcasefor Sarah Stennett,head of Turn First Artists,after whichshe was advised to take a break from school in order topursue a career in music.Lillywhite became EllieGoulding's first manager and was also responsible forintroducing her to Starsmith,a producer who later onbecame her chief collaborator and the main producer forher debut
