A teacher, Tengku Mohamad Farid Tengku Mohd Nordin, recorded a video of the incident at 8:30 am. Orang Asli villagers managed to drive the elephant back into the forest after it had been in the vicinity for approximately an hour. This is not an isolated event, as elephants have been entering the Orang Asli settlement multiple times since last month, reportedly in search of food. The presence of elephants has raised safety concerns among the villagers, who fear encountering the animals. Elephant footprints have also been found within the school compound, indicating the animals' proximity. The Wildlife and National Parks Department has been informed and inspected the area following a report lodged by the
