They expressed concern about the country’s macro-fiscal situation and fragile governance and asked for the Bank to continue to engage with the IMF to support fiscal consolidation efforts particularly on Domestic Resource Mobilization, in order to enhance growth prospects and mobilization of private capital. They called for continued WBG engagement in boosting growth and job opportunities- especially for women and youth, strengthening human capital, and improving fiscal, social and climate resilience.  \nDirectors recognized the country’s governance challenges and vulnerabilities, including those related to crime and violence, and underlined the migratory pressures that these generate.
