The intent of this letter is informational so that you know the program and participant expectations. Interested All-Star participants need to ask some tough questions and answer honestly before making the All-Star commitment.  \nAre you ready for the summer commitment?  \n✓ Are you ready for 2-3 hour practices a minimum of 3 times a week?  \n✓ Are you ready to give up summer vacations?  \n✓ Are you ready for the financial commitment?  \n✓ Can you objectively support your manager without questioning their decisions related to how often or what position(s) your daughter plays?  \n✓ Are you ready to be part of something that is an honor and privilege?  \n✓ Are you ready to represent your City of Eastvale and EGSA?  \nIf you have any reservations in your ability to answer the above, then an All-Star commitment may not currently be right for you and your family. If you can honestly answer yes to the above questions without hesitation, then you should consider an All-Star commitment.  \nThe completion of this form should not in any way be construed as a selection to an All-Star team, but only as to complete the eligibility  \nrequirement to be included in the All-Star Pool for selection to the All-Star Team.  \nApplication Instructions:  \n1. FORM COMPLETION: All interested 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U players are to read the information on this form with their parents, and consent no later than Sunday, April 26th.  \n2.  Parents must read and understand the commitment required from them and their child to participate on an All-Star team and indicate agreement by consenting at the end of this form.  \nAGREEMENT  \nThis agreement is entered into for the purpose of explaining All Star team participation and defining the terms and conditions of player/parents. In consideration of the mutual promise of all players to play to the best of their ability, the parents to support the player positively, the manager and coaches to supervise all team activities responsibly and the Board of Directors of Eastvale Girls Softball to sponsor the tournament team, all parties understand and agree as follows:  \n1. ALL STAR PROCEDURE & ELIGIBILITY-All Stars is a separate team and tournaments from the regular softball season and comes under separate tournament rules and guidelines as defined by USA Official Rules & Regulations. All Stars is considered post-season tournament play and the emphasis is on fielding players to win tournaments. We are in a “B” (Gold Teams) & “C”(Silver Teams) division so we will have tournament play, District play, and may advance to State and National play. Players are selected based on commitment, eligibility (age), availability, playing skills, sportsmanship, and attitude. A player must also have participated in at least 75% of ALL scheduled regular season games to be eligible. Any player considered for All Stars MUST NOT have played for any travel team, activities include, but are not limited to, playing, practicing, working out or training with any travel related facility or organization after March 31, 2026.  \n2. TEAM SELECTION-All Players who receive an eligible score will have the opportunity to advance in the tryout process and may then be considered for team selection.  \n3. CONDITIONS OF ACCEPTING POSITION TO ALL STARS-This agreement contains the conditions of participation for each player and her parent(s) or guardian(s) .
