Sunday, September 3, 1911  \nEdward S. Hench, aged 31, one of the best known railroad men of the South Side, and for 11 years employed as a trainman on the Monongahela division of the Pennsylvania railroad, died yesterday from injuries received while at work in the South Side yards.  \nMr. Hench was born in Duncannon, Pa., and came to Pittsburgh in 1900. He entered the employ of the Pennsylvania railroad then. He was a member of the B. R. ofT., and also one of the O. R. C., and the railroad Y. M. C. A.  \nLast May, Mr. Hench’s brother, Charles, was killed on the same road. A third brother, William, employed on the road, is a resident of the South Side. Mr. Hench leaves a widow, who was Miss Stella Gallagher of the South Side, to whom he was married three years ago, and one child. His brothers, William of 1732 Carson Street, and John of York, Pa., and one sister, Miss Bessie Hench, of Harrisburg, Pa., are living.  \n(Same paper)  \nHench – Suddenly on Saturday, September 2, 1911, at 4.45 a.m., E.
