It will cover methods for predicting the age of MI using ECG, and techniques for localizing the affected myocardial region or vascular territory in STEMI cases. Furthermore, the lecture delves into common conduction pathologies that arise as sequelae of infarction, and addresses specific challenging situations such as diagnosing right ventricular MI, posterior wall MI, and MI in the presence of Left Bundle Branch Block (LBBB). The presentation will also elucidate the classification of MI by morphology, contrasting the old terminology (Q-wave MI, non-Q-wave MI) with the new terminology (STEMI, non-STEMI), and detail ECG findings in relation to the time elapsed since MI occurrence.
