I was a new Dungeon Master who, previously, had only run shorter story arcs that required less prep. Now that I’ve been writing and publishing adventures for some time, I’ve decided to do this early campaign justice! My intention is to tie together the previously published sections of the campaign into one cohesive storyline and to provide additional guidance for running the adventure in the Forgotten Realms. \nThe campaign focuses around some classic Dungeons & Dragons monsters-dragons and giants and tries to do them justice in a traditional way. Despite this, I’ve tried to inject some novel ideas into the campaign that should make it exciting and unique. Hopefully, it presents the opportunity for characters to fight and defeat a terrifying villain that should make them feel truly heroic. \nCOVER ART \nDUNGEONS & DRAGONS, D&D, Wizards of the Coast, Forgotten Realms, Ravenloft, Eberron, the dragon ampersand, Ravnica, Player’s Handbook, Monster Manual, Dungeon Master’s Guide, D&D Adventurers League, and all other Wizards of the Coast product names, and their respective logos are trademarks of Wizards of the Coast in the USA and other countries.
