REGISTRATION  \n1. Registration period: any time between August 1st, 2023 to September 30, 2023.  \n2. Registration fee and payment procedures  \nRegistration fee: BRL 200,00 (Two hundred Brazilian Reais) .  \nThe candidate must contact the PPG secretariat via e-mail ([ppg.saudepubli@usp.br](ppg.saudepubli@usp.br)), requesting the generation of a slip for the payment of the registration fee. The slip will be sent to the candidate’s e-mail and his/her registration will be effective after confirming the fee payment. The registration fee payment for foreigners and Brazilians living abroad will be performed by international transfer to a current account of the School of Public Health in the amount of USD 38.00 The candidate must contact the PPG secretariat via e-mail ([ppg.saudepubli@usp.br](ppg.saudepubli@usp.br)), requesting information for the payment (bank account) .  \n2.1. Fee payment exemption  \nExemption requests, supported by by-laws No. 12.782, of December 20, 2007, will be evaluated by the PPG-SP Coordination Commission. The candidate must send to the Program Secretariat ([ppg.saudepubli@usp.br](ppg.saudepubli@usp.br)) a letter justifying the request and proof of the conditions for the exemption provided in the by-laws.  \n3. Application documents  \na) Letter of intent explaining the reasons for the candidate to do the Doctorate in the Graduate Public Health degree program. Letters written in Portuguese, Spanish, or English will be accepted.  \nb) Copy of the updated Lattes Curriculum ([http://lattes.cnpq.br/](http://lattes.cnpq.br/)), with ResearcherID and ORCID.  \nc) Research project aligned with the research lines of the PPG-SP, consistent with the doctoral degree. It should be presented clearly, with a maximum length of 20 A4-sized pages, excluding cover page, index, bibliographic references, and any attachments, Times New Roman 12pt font, double spaced, and 2.5cm margins. No project template will be provided. Projects in Portuguese, Spanish, or English will be accepted.  \nd) Proof of English proficiency at an intermediate or advanced level, through oneof the following certificates: EF SET ([https://www.efset.org](https://www.efset.org) ), with a minimum score of 41; TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language – Internet-based Test), with a minimum score of 57; TOEFL iTP, with a minimum score of 460; IELTS (International English Language Testing System), with a minimum score of 5.0; TOEFL IBT Home Edition, with a minimum score of 42 and CPE (Cambridge Proficiency in English), with a minimum level ofFCE. Proof must have been verified no later than five years before the date of enrollment in this selection process. Candidates whose native language is English will be exempt from this document.
