Applicants must hold an economics-related master’s, have 5+ years relevant experience, strong English writing, and STATA proficiency, with fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.","Recruitment  \nJob Title: Short-Term Consultancy  \nDistributional Impact of Fiscal Policies in Indonesia  \nUnit: Poverty and Equity GP, World Bank Indonesia  \nThe Poverty and Equity GP of the World Bank Indonesia Office has developed a comprehensive fiscal micro-simulation tool for Indonesia using the Commitment to Equity (CEQ) framework. The Poverty and Equity GP is looking for a consultant who will be a core member of the team to work on:  \n(i)  Sustaining and Developing Multi-year Fiscal CEQ Model: a multi-year CEQs has been developed for Indonesia. The system must be sustained to make it consistent and comparable over time and will be updated periodically as new household survey data becomes available.  \n(ii)  Consolidation of the fiscal analysis models:  in addition to CEQ, the team has developed a macro-micro simulation model to estimate poverty based on macro projections, and a price simulation model to estimate the poverty impact of any price shocks. The team plans to explore the optimal way to consolidate these models.  \nSpecific tasks and responsibilities will include:  \n• Conduct the CEQ harmonization analysis to ensure consistencies of CEQ main parameters throughout the years analyzed.  \n• Conduct the main analysis to consolidate the different simulation models.  \n• Support the process to systemize and streamline the methodology and the application of the simulation models to help quicker and faster turnaround of new updates and any revisions required for the earlier rounds (using GitHub) .  \nSelection criteria  \n• A Master’s degree in economics or related field.  \n• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.  \n• Proven track record of working with development-related data and household survey data.  \n• Demonstrate ability to write in clear and concise English.  \n• Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.  \n• Fluency in STATA programming skill  \n• An active interest in the economic development of Indonesia.  \n• Experience in working with simulation models is an advantage.  \nThe position offered is a Short-Term Consultancy contract.
