It is found that moderately loose price-based and quantitative-based monetary policies can expand bank risk-taking, and the digital transformation weakens the monetary policy’s regulation mechanism on bank risk, compared with city commercial banks, agricultural commercial bank and other small and medium-sized banks, state-owned, joint-stock and other large banks can more ease the impact of internet finance on the monetary policy control mechanism. The conclusion of this paper can provide reference for making macro-monetary policy and mitigating bank risk. | |\n\n1. Introduction \nDigital technology has broken time and space constraints (Khanchel, 2019), and digitization has become an important driver of economic development. With the maturity of information technology such as big data and artificial intelligence, financial institutions are beginning to start digital transformation, and commercial banks, as the core of the financial system, are also using digital technology to reshape and innovate their business models, overall layout digital transformation. The essence of digital transformation is innovation, which can bring new opportunities to the development of banking industry. But innovation also means there-establishment of rules, which will lead to the changes of market structure in different degrees. \nTherefore, we should not only consider the advantages of digital transformation, but also fully consider whether it will bring uncertainty and challenges to the banking system. In the context of digital transformation, it is of great practical significance to study the relationship between digital transformation and bank risk-taking and its mechanism. \nDifferent from the traditional monetary policy credit channel theory, since the 2008 international financial crisis, many scholars began to study the monetary policy risk transmission channel, one of the more representative is the DLM model proposed by Dell’Ariccia et al. (2010), but most of these scholars focus on the research between monetary policy and commercial bank risk. As a new form of business, digitization has a profound impact on corporate decision (Wu et al., 2022; Kong and Liu, 2023; Yu et al., 2023), but there is no research on the channel of monetary policy risk with digitization transformation. Therefore, under the background of the rapid development of digital transformation, will monetary policy impact on the risk control mechanism of commercial banks? If so, is it a positive or a negative shock? Will the impact of the digital transformation on the risk control mechanism of banks be different due to the different types of banks? \n* Corresponding author. \nE-mail address: [hews_lzu_edu@sina.com](hews_lzu_edu@sina.com) (W.
