 \nThe brochure points then to the utter irrelevanceof present liturgical forms for alive young people,  \n● to be a grass roots channel of mutual encouragement  \n● to share the charisms of some which are of value to all  \nTRANS  \nSISTER  \nSister Maryellen,CSC  \nfor the creating of meaningful communities,for thepreaching of a message of universal,human concern.It also adverts to the sheer fact of millions of sincereCatholics who are still \"attached to catechetical aber-rations which identify liturgical events with a \"duty\"to waft skyward some kind of extrinsic \"glory\"toa philosophical abstraction”.The Liturgical Confer-ence pledges its members,staff and funds to turnall its efforts for the future away from mere cere-monial adaptations,and to come to grips with thegreat question of worship today:Who is man today,who is God,who is Christ for him?How can mantoday learn to relate to all his fellow men in such away that he can again find honest and meaningfulways of worshipping God in spirit and truth?
