When I started, I had afulltime job and was teaching German in language schools and at university at the sametime and every free minute I was working on this study. That was a big challenge and often I was tired and panicked that I would not finish it. We were always far away from each other, but our friendship never changed.  \nAs I moved back to Wolfsburg, my whole life changed. When I got pregnant, I thought I can manage both a baby and the dissertation. What a crazy thought! This was an exciting journey and a roller coaster of feelings. Of course, there was not much time for my work, but somehow, I managed it.
