The university has made efforts to ensure that deposited material does not infringe third-party rights or violate UK law. Should any content in DORA be found to infringe rights, users are encouraged to notify the DORA Repository Manager via email, specifying the item and the grounds for the complaint. Supported grounds include copyright violation, plagiarism, legal requirements, national security, and falsified research. Upon receiving a complaint, the Repository Manager will assess its validity, temporarily withdraw the item, and acknowledge receipt in writing. A review by the DORA managing bodies and the University's Copyright Officer will follow. If the complaint is deemed plausible, the material will be permanently removed from DORA. Importantly, metadata for withdrawn content will be retained to preserve the historical record, along with a note explaining the reason for removal. To issue a complaint, individuals must provide their contact details, bibliographic information including a URL for the item, and an outline of the complaint's nature.","De Montfort University Open Research Archive (DORA)  \nTake-down Policy  \nThe De Montfort University Open Research Archive (DORA) is an open access repository.  \nThe University has endeavoured to ensure that no material deposited in DORA infringes any third party property rights or otherwise infringes UK law. However, should you discover any content in DORA that you believe infringes your rights, please notify the DORA Repository Manager [[dora@dmu.ac.uk](dora@dmu.ac.uk)], specifying the particular item(s) that is the subject of your complaint and the particular grounds for your complaint.
