The Philistine soldiers stood on one hill, while King Saul and the Israelite soldiers stood on another hill. There was a valley between them.  \n1 Samuel 17:1-3  \nOne Philistine soldier was a giant named Goliath. He was a very tall, strong man. He was three meters tall! He wore heavy metal armor for protection. His spear had an iron point that weighed about seven kilograms.  \n1 Samuel 17:4-7  \nGoliath shouted to the Israelite soldiers,“I ama Philistine! Choose a man to come fight with me! If he kills me, then we Philistines will become your slaves!
