The power a parent carries over the psyche of their own child is tremendous, and, when misused, makes it easy for them to groom a daughter or son into sexual submission. A child, knowing it is wrong to be touched in an inappropriate manner, will often allow it to go on unreported in order to keep the love from that parent alive. This short story is but one example of this.  \nAfter interviewing the young lady for whom this story is based, I have come to realize that it is scary how easy it is to groom a child raised ina dysfunctional family setting.  \n[OceanofPDF.com](OceanofPDF.com)  \nPrologue  \nMY BARE BOTTOM screams out in pain as Daddy’s worn leather belt lands another stinging swat against it. The welts are already there, of that I am certain. The only question now is whether or not Daddy will stop before they start to bleed.  \nI am standing in my bedroom in a most humiliating pose. Daddy has me bent over grabbing my tiny ankles. My pink pajamas and flowered cotton panties are bunched at my feet. I am naked from the waist down, exposed for Daddy to see . My legs are spread apart as far as my bunched clothing will allow. That is one of Daddy’s rules.  \nSwat. Swat. Swat.  \nThe pain is sharp and penetrating. I have lost count how many swats my bare bottom has absorbed over the last five minutes; I think maybe thirty. My toes curl and dig into the hardwood floor beneath them after each swing of Daddy’s punishment.  \nSwat. Swat. Swat.  \nI squeeze my eyes shut each time Daddy’s belt reaches out and leaves a mark on my raw, battered flesh. You know the rules.”  \nHe punishes my hand for being disobedient. The brass buckle of Daddy’s belt comes down hard on top of it. My knuckles are on fire just like my bare bottom.  \nI reluctantly pull my hand away and return it to my ankle. I can’t  \nstop crying. I pinch my eyes shut to no avail; my tears won’t stay behind my eyelids. I love Daddy, but I wish he was dead at this very moment.  \nDaddy gives me two more swats and then tosses his belt down onto my unmade bed next to where I am shamelessly bent over.  \n“You know I hate spanking you, Katie,” Daddy says in his soft voice.“You gave me no choice.”  \nDaddy always has a soft voice when he is done spanking me . I don’t know why, but it is always that way.  \nDaddy kneels down behind me and I feel his strong hand press gently against my bare bottom.  \nA sickening sensation grabs hold of me . I squeeze my legs together but Daddy forces them apart again. He tells me he is ‘checking out the damage’, but I know better.
