Alternative remediation opportunities shall be identified, defined and included in a written Florida College System institution policy.  \n1. To start the PERT Retest Process:  \nStudents who would like additional PERT attempts are to complete the PERT Remediation Request survey. The PERT Remediation Request survey will display at the end of the placement test and a link to the survey will be available on the Testing Center Computer desktops.  \na. Students will be directed at the end of the placement test to take the online PERT Skill Set Review in reading, writing and/or math to determine what PERT skills need improvement. Students will return at a later date to the Testing Center to complete PERT Skill Set Review if the student cannot complete the PERT Skill Set Review after the Placement Test.  \nb. The PERT Skill Set Review can be completed the same day the PERT is administered. After the PERT Skill Set Review is completed the students will print the PERT Skill Set Review Report at the Testing Center. The students will ask a Testing Center staff member to email the College Wide Testing Coordinator to have the students added to the PERT Remediation group in ANGEL.  \nc. Students will deliver the PERT Skill Set Review Report in reading, writing and/or math to the Learning Support Commons (LSC) or return home to begin remediation in the PERT Remediation Group in ANGEL. The PERT Remediation Group completion is contingent on the number of skills the student needs to practice and completing the assessment, mastery tests and/or mastery quizzes connected to a particular skill.  \nd. Students will complete PERT Practice content (80 points or better on assessments, mastery tests and/or mastery quizzes) in ANGEL with LSC assistance or from home.  \ne. LSC staff members are to fill out the PERT Remediation Completion Form and print a copy before submitting the PERT Remediation Completion Form. LSC staff members and students will sign the printed PERT Remediation Completion Form at the LSC. Students return to the Testing Center with the PERT Remediation Completion Form for an additional attempt.  \nf. Student will request a SPC CPT Testing Referral from an advisor for the PERT retest.  \ng. Student will pay the $15.00 retest fee in the Business Office.  \nh. Students will present the signed PERT Remediation Completion Form, advising referral andretest fee receipt to the Testing Center staff members for the PERT 2nd attempt.  \nThe Get Ready for College Math class is available as a remediation resource as well as the PERT Remediation Math mentioned above in 1a. Both math resources are delivered in ANGEL. Registration and access to the Get Ready for College Math class is available at [http://www.spcollege.edu/ready/](http://www.spcollege.edu/ready/)  \n1. Click the Register button, enter email address and fill out an application to gain access to the Get Ready for College-Math class. When the Get Ready for College-Math application is submitted, an email is sent to the student with their username and password and the link to the ANGEL log in to start working in the class.  \n2. Students will login into the Get Ready for College-Math class read and sign a user agreement. An introduction video automatically launches then the student is directed toa Get Started Folder.  \n3. After completion of the Get Ready for College-Math class and score at least a 70% on the final exam students a completion certificate will be available to print. The completion certificate is to be presented at a SPC Testing Center to retake the PERT math.
