Initial vitals showed high fever, marked tachycardia, borderline blood pressure, tachypnea, and hypoxaemia with O2 saturation 90% on room air, followed by severe decline. Assessment noted decreased bilateral air entry with wheeze and no leg swelling or tenderness. Management included isolation precautions with airborne PPE, establishment of IV access with a 500 mL normal saline bolus, supplemental oxygen escalating to non-rebreather, and urgent intubation after worsening hypoxia and agitation. Ventilation achieved O2 saturation 92% with 100% oxygen.
