Please read this form and ask questions about anything you are unsure of prior to starting your test. \nEvery customer is required to provide a safe vehicle in good working order for the driving test. The examiner will inspect the vehicle before the test begins. The vehicle must: \n1. Have a valid license plate displayed on the rear of the vehicle. \n2. Have a valid vehicle registration to present prior to the beginning of the test. \n3. Have proof of valid PIP and Property Damage Liability Insurance to present prior to the beginning of the test. \n4. Pass a vehicle safety inspection (lights, horn, tires, signals, mirrors, etc.) . \n5. Have operable manufacturer- installed seatbelts. \n6. Have an operable cellular phone capable of hands-free operation. \n7. Have an accompanying licensed driver 21 years or older in the seat closest to the driver unless the customer holds a valid driver license from another country. \nThe COVID-19 driving test will be conducted on a closed course. You will receive instructions in person and by electronic communications during the test. Examiner dials customer’s cell phone and confirms he/ she is on Bluetooth or speaker phone. Customer is advised not to touch the phone during the exam unless directed by the examiner to do so. Once the examiner confirms the connection, the driving may begin. The examiner will give you directions as to where to go and what to do next. There are no tricks on the driving test, and you will not be asked to do anything illegal. Pay close attention to the instructions and obey speed limits, traffic marking, signs, and traffic laws at all times. Always remain calm and perform the maneuvers to the best of your abilities. \nYou must be prepared to perform the following maneuvers on the COVID-19 driving test: \n􀁸 Quick Stop-Drive straight ahead at about 20 mph. when instructed quickly and safely bring your vehicle to a complete stop without sliding or skidding the tires. \n􀁸 Backing-Back for a distance of 50 feet at a slow speed. Do not use the rear-view mirror when backing. Look to the rear instead. \n􀁸 Observe Right-of-Way-Allow pedestrians to cross; pull over and stop for emergency vehicles; and do not enter an intersection where you will interfere with other traffic. \n􀁸 Obey Stop Signs-Give the proper signal if turning, approach in the proper lane, come to a complete stop before reaching the stop line and remain stopped until you can move safely without interfering with traffic or pedestrians. \n􀁸 Shift Gears-Change gears smoothly and correctly (if your car has a manual shift transmission) \n􀁸 Straight in parking-Park your vehicle inside the parking space straight- in. When properly parked, the vehicle should be centered inside the space with no part of vehicle extending out in the traffic lane. This maneuver gives the examiner the opportunity to observe your ability to: \no a. ) handle the vehicle in close quarters \no b. ) judge distance \no c. ) Maintain control of the vehicle as you turn into a straight in parking space \n􀁸 Signal & Turn-Proceed in the proper lane and signal your turn for the last 100 feet. You may use either hand signals or mechanical signals. Slow down before making the turn. \n􀁸 Stay in Proper lane-Drive in the correct lane except when instructed to perform a maneuver requiring crossing lanes. \n􀁸 Turnabout/ Three-Point Turn-Turn your car around in a 30’ to 40’ space to face the opposite direction \n􀁸 Use Proper Posture-Keep both hands on the steering wheel and do not rest your elbow in the window. \n􀁸 Stop/ Start on a Grade-This maneuver is simulated when the car is in the straight- in parking space. You will be instructed to tell (show) the examiner what you would do if you were going to leave your vehicle parked up (or down) on this grade, with (or without), a curb? \nAfter your last maneuver, back out of your parking space you are going","cbCaipfGvt5ZMgcA","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaipfGvt5ZMgcA","pdf",1193855,"English","# Vehicle and document requirements\n## Test setup and communication\n# Required driving maneuvers\n## Quick Stop and Backing\n## Right-of-way and Stop signs\n## Gear shifting and parking\n## Signals, lane discipline, and turns\n## Posture and stop/start on a grade\n# After the test\n## Mistakes and retest\n## Passing and license issuance\n## Weather cancellation note","[{\"question\":\"What vehicle and document items are required before the test begins?\",\"answer\":\"You must have a valid rear license plate, vehicle registration, proof of valid PIP and Property Damage Liability Insurance, and pass a safety inspection (lights, horn, tires, signals, mirrors, etc.).
