The present package facilitates the creation of such diagrams by providing a convenient set of macros and reasonable default settings. Familiarity with TikZ is helpful but not necessary, since the examples contained here cover the most common situations. \nThis work may be distributed and/or modified under the conditions of the LATEX Project Public License, either version 1.3 of this license or (at your option) any later version. \nContents \n1 Getting started 1 \n1.1 Creating a diagram .......................................... 2 \n1.2 Inserting arrows . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2 \n1.3 Changing arrow tips ......................................... 3 \n1.4 Alternative syntax for arrows .................................... 4 \n1.5 Usage in plain TEX .......................................... 5 \n1.6 Usage in ConTEXt .......................................... 5 \n2 Controlling the appearance of diagrams 5 \n2.1 General options ............................................ 6 \n2.2 Global options for arrows ...................................... 7 \n2.3 Absolute placement of arrows .................................... 8 \n2.4 Phantom arrows . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 9 \n2.5 Fine-tuning the placement of arrows ................................ 9 \n2.6 Three-dimensional diagrams ..................................... 10 \n2.7 Options for labels ........................................... 11 \n3 Advanced usage 11 \n3. 1 Internals of tikzcd and the arrow commands . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 12 \n3.2 Tweaking to paths .......................................... 12 \n3.3 Drawing diagrams directly with TikZ ................................ 13 \n3.4 Issues with active characters . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 13 \n4 Additional goodies 14 \n4.1 The asymmetrical rectangle shape ................................ 14 \n4.2 Reading font parameters ....................................... 15 \n4.3 Computer Modern arrow tips .................................... 15 \n4.4 Glyph arrow tips ........................................... 15 \nIndex 17 \n1 Getting started \nTo load this package in LATEX, type \\usepackage{tikz-cd} \nor load TikZ and then type \\usetikzlibrary{cd} \nThis package is compatible with other TEX formats as well. See §1.5 and §1.6 . \n1.1 Creating a diagram \nThe basic tool to create a commutative diagram is the following environment. \n\\begin{tikzcd} [hoptionsi] henvironment contentsi \n\\end{tikzcd} \nThe environment contents should describe a matrix, as in LATEX’s familiar {tabular} environment. The optional argument hoptionsi may be used to modify the appearance of the diagram. Any of the customization keys described in this manual, as well as those originally provided by TikZ, can be used here. Arrows between matrix entries can be created with the \\arrow command described below. \nEverything inside {tikzcd} is typeset in math mode, but you will probably want to use it inside an {equation} environment or \\ [ …\\], so that the diagram is placed on a new line and centered. \nIt is important to note that dvi viewers will not display diagrams correctly. It is necessary to convert the dvi file to pdf or ps format—or, even better, use a tool that generates pdf files directly, such as pdflatex. \n1.2 Inserting arrows \nInside the {tikzcd} environment, the following synonymous commands are provided to produce arrows. \n\\arrow [hoptionsi]\\ar [hoptionsi] \nHere, hoptionsi is a comma-separated list of options which can be used to specify the arrow target, add labels, change arrow tips, and perform additional modifications. \nThe arr","cbCaigb5vx8tfcqW","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaigb5vx8tfcqW","pdf",271313,18,"English","# Getting started\n## Creating a diagram\n## Inserting arrows\n## Changing arrow tips\n## Alternative syntax for arrows\n## Usage in plain TEX\n## Usage in ConTEXt\n# Controlling the appearance of diagrams\n## General options\n## Global options for arrows\n## Absolute placement of arrows\n## Phantom arrows\n## Fine-tuning the placement of arrows\n## Three-dimensional diagrams\n## Options for labels\n# Advanced usage\n## Internals of tikzcd and the arrow commands\n## Tweaking to paths\n## Drawing diagrams directly with TikZ\n## Issues with active characters\n# Additional goodies\n## The asymmetrical rectangle shape\n## Reading font parameters\n## Computer Modern arrow tips\n## Glyph arrow tips","[{\"question\":\"What is the purpose of the tikz-cd package (TikZcd)?\",\"answer\":\"It typesets commutative diagrams and other kinds of mathematical pictures, providing a set of macros and sensible defaults for high-quality results.\"},{\"question\":\"How do you create a commutative diagram using tikzcd?\",\"answer\":\"Use the tikzcd environment; the environment contents describe a matrix (similar to the tabular environment), and optional arguments can customize the diagram appearance.\"},{\"question\":\"How can arrows and labels be added between diagram entries?\",\"answer\":\"Arrows are created with the provided \\\\\\\\arrow commands, using direction parameters (r, l, d, u) as targets.
