I was already past exhausted after spending the day in the dance studio practicing but skipping my every two days weight training schedule wasn't an option. Even if it meant I had to hit up the gym at my apartment complex at two in the morning to get it done.  \nOkay.  \nI wouldn't front.  \nI had fully intended to skip today's weight session.  \nI got myself home, climbed into the shower and then my bed…where nothing happened.  \nLiterally nothing.  \nNot even sleep.  \nSo, since slumber seemed hell-bent on eluding my grasp, I figured I might as well go ahead and take the opportunity to not break the habit streak I'd been building.  \nYay, me.  \n…I guess.  \nI was down on the floor, on a borrowed yoga mat since I had forgotten my own when I heard the doors to the quiet, empty workout facility open. My earbuds were up in my apartment, so sheer willpower had been getting me through this session. I had enough faith in the building security that I  \ndidn't immediately look up, opting to finish my first set of leg lifts while I had the momentum already going.  \n“That’s right baby, engage that core,” I heard as I successfully – but not easily – lifted my legs in tandem to complete number fifteen.  \nI groaned as my heels unceremoniously hit the floor, my sneakers making them bounce a bit before I sat up to look into the face of a man who was arguably the worst motherfucker on the planet.  \nOkay, fine.  \nMaybe worst motherfucker on the planet was a hell of an exaggeration, but I surely wasn't trying to look at his ass right now.  \nIt was bad enough that I had to see him prowling around Blackwood in custom-tailored suits, preening under the inevitable, abundant attention he got.  \nAddison Clarke in compression shorts and cut-off sleeves was a sight no woman who wasn’t trying to end up in his bed should have to endure.  \nThe man looked entirely too good for anybody’s good.  \nHe made me so damn sick.  \nWith a wolfish grin and hands on his hips, he sauntered up to where I was sitting, putting that downright vulgar bulge of his right in my eye line.  \n“You’re looking good over here Sam, all sweaty and strong and fine.
