The game focuses on concepts such as odd and even numbers, comparisons like greater than or less than, and identifying multiples. By rolling three dice and performing addition, players improve their quick recall of addition facts while learning to classify results according to specific numerical criteria. This game is suitable for 2-3 players and requires basic supplies like dice and counters, providing an engaging classroom or home activity that blends competition with critical mathematical thinking. The structured rules ensure that students practice logic alongside arithmetic, effectively reinforcing core math curriculum standards in a playful environment that encourages active participation and strategic decision-making throughout the play session.",{"@graph":69,"@context":122},[70,84,105],{"@type":71,"itemListElement":72},"BreadcrumbList",[73,77,79,82],{"item":74,"name":75,"@type":76,"position":8},"https://docshare.wps.com","Home","ListItem",{"item":78,"name":9,"@type":76,"position":14},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/",{"item":80,"name":20,"@type":76,"position":81},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/exam/",3,{"item":83,"name":65,"@type":76,"position":19},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/classify-it-game-3-educational-math-activity/631667/",{"url":83,"name":65,"@type":85,"image":86,"author":91,"headline":65,"publisher":94,"fileFormat":97,"inLanguage":63,"description":67,"dateModified":98,"datePublished":99,"encodingFormat":97,"isAccessibleForFree":100,"interactionStatistic":101},"DigitalDocument",{"url":87,"@type":88,"width":89,"height":90},"https://docshare.wps.com/thumbnails/classify-it-game-3-educational-math-activity/631667.png","ImageObject",300,407,{"name":92,"@type":93},"Emma Wilson","Person",{"url":74,"name":95,"@type":96},"DocShare","Organization","application/pdf","2026-11-03","2026-10-22",true,{"@type":102,"interactionType":103,"userInteractionCount":19},"InteractionCounter",{"@type":104},"ViewAction",{"@type":106,"mainEntity":107},"FAQPage",[108,114,118],{"name":109,"@type":110,"acceptedAnswer":111},"What is the primary goal of the Classify It Game #3?","Question",{"text":112,"@type":113},"The primary goal is to help children develop an understanding of mathematical vocabulary like odd and even, inequalities, and multiples, while also practicing addition of three numbers.","Answer",{"name":115,"@type":110,"acceptedAnswer":116},"How many players are required for this game?",{"text":117,"@type":113},"The game is designed for 2-3 players.",{"name":119,"@type":110,"acceptedAnswer":120},"What materials do players need to play the game?",{"text":121,"@type":113},"Players need a set of 12 cut-out counters each and 3 dice, or one die that can be rolled three times.","https://schema.org",{"og:url":83,"og:type":124,"og:title":65,"og:site_name":95,"og:description":67},"article",{"robots":126,"canonical":83},"index,follow",{"doc_id":128,"site_id":62},631667,1792878678,{"code":4,"msg":5,"data":131},{"doc_id":128,"user_id":132,"nickname":92,"user_avatar":133,"doc_module":4,"category_id":19,"category_name":20,"doc_title":65,"doc_description":67,"doc_content":134,"file_id":135,"file_url":136,"file_type":137,"file_size":138,"view_count":19,"is_deleted":4,"is_public":8,"is_downloadable":8,"audit_status":8,"page_count":81,"language":139,"language_code":63,"site_id":62,"html_lang":63,"table_of_contents":140,"faqs":141,"seo_title":142,"seo_description":67,"update_tm":143,"read_time":39},3848291630094,"https://eur-avatar.wpscdn.com/davatar_085a072bc5b1113ac321206ff7593b45","Classify It Game \\#3 is a good game for getting children to develop their understanding of different math vocabulary such as odd and even, equal to, greater/less than and multiple of. It also helps to develop quick recall of addition facts of 3 small numbers. \nAge range: 3rd Grade + \nNumber of players: 2-3 Learning: \n- Adding up the numbers on 3 dice \n- Odd and even numbers to 18 \n- Vocabulary: \no Greater than & Less than \no Equal to … or … \no Multiple of … \nYou will need \n- A set of 12 cut out counters for each player \n- 3 dice. You can always roll 1 dice three times and write down the numbers if you do not have 3 dice. \nInstructions \n- Each player takes turns to roll the dice and add them up. The player then chooses one classification hexagon on the board which matches the total they have rolled. They cover this hexagon up with a counter. \n- If a person cannot find any hexagon which matches their number, they pass the dice onto the next player. \n- The game finishes when all the hexagons are covered up. \n- The winner of the game is the person who manages to cover up most hexagons. \nExample of play \no Player 1 rolls a 4, 5 and a 2 which makes a total of 11. Player 1 chooses to cover up the ‘Greater than 10’ hexagon with a counter. \no Player 2 rolls a 4, 3 and a 6 which makes a total of 13. Player 2 chooses to cover up the ‘’ Between 11 and 17’ hexagon. \nVariations \n- Use a 20-sided dice instead of three 6-sided dice \nmultiple of 3 \nequal to \n9 or 10 \nless than 8 \nmultiple of 4 \nnot more than 8 \ngreater than 12 \nnot a multiple of 3 \nodd \neven \nmultiple of 5 \nnot less than 13 \nmultiple of 2 \nequal to \n9 or 10 \nless than 8 \nmultiple of 3 \nmultiple of 4 \ngreater than 12 \neven \nnot less than 13 \nnot a multiple of 3 \nmultiple of 5 \nmultiple of 2 \nodd \nnot more than 8","cbCailLAGSpBaMa4","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCailLAGSpBaMa4","pdf",468254,"English","# Classify It Game #3 Overview\n## Learning Objectives and Requirements\n## Instructions and Gameplay Example\n## Game Variations","[{\"question\":\"What is the primary goal of the Classify It Game #3?\",\"answer\":\"The primary goal is to help children develop an understanding of mathematical vocabulary like odd and even, inequalities, and multiples, while also practicing addition of three numbers.\"},{\"question\":\"How many players are required for this game?\",\"answer\":\"The game is designed for 2-3 players.\"},{\"question\":\"What materials do players need to play the game?\",\"answer\":\"Players need a set of 12 cut-out counters each and 3 dice, or one die that can be rolled three times.\"}]","Classify It Game - 3 - Educational Math Activity | PDF",1792669385]
