Jones-Mel LewisOrchestra.A clarinet solo on the album Live at the Villoge Vanguardhelped him win Downbeat magazine's International Critics New Staraward in 1968.Eddie recorded his Grammy-nominated GRP debut albumBreakthough with the Philharmonia Orchestra of London,and garmered two moreGrammy nominations for To Bird with Love.He won a Grammy with his third albumMemos fiom Paradise,and recorded The Brahms and Weber Claninet Quintets with theComposers String Quartet With vibist Gary Burton,he recorded Benny RidesAgain,featuring the music of Benny Goodman and Lionel Hampton.His latestCDs include Under the Influence and RealTime.  \nVersatile pianistcomposer Michael Garson began studying clas-sical piano at age seven,later continuing with Juiliard's LeonardEisner.He began his jazz career in NewYork City,performingwith greats such as Evin Jones.Michael toured and recorded  \nwith David Bowie,performed with David Sanbom and LutherVandrossand toured with Staniey Clarke and Freddie Hubbard.Performing as Free Flight,Michaeland flutist Jim Walker have recorded eight successful classically influenced jazz albums.As a ciassical soloist,Michael has performed with symphonies throughout the UnitedStates.He recorded seven solo piano albums and recently published a set of solo pianobooks with Alfred titled Evening Reflections.He has composed for film and television,  \nmost
