INTRODUCTION \nThe International Military Sports Council (CISM) is an international sports organization established in 1948, with its headquarters in Brussels. It is the world's secondlargest multi-discipline sports organization, following the International Olympic Committee (IOC) . \nCISM is committed to fostering friendly relations among the Armed Forces of its member nations, primarily through sports competitions and events. The organization aims to promote physical education and sports activities, provide mutual technical assistance, and support less privileged members in the spirit of friendship and solidarity. Additionally, CISM contributes to the balanced and harmonious development of military personnel and supports the global effort towards universal peace. \nTo achieve these objectives, CISM organizes the Military World Games and various other sports events at the global, continental, and regional levels. It also conducts seminars and symposiums and implements programs focused on solidarity and technical assistance. \nGiven the complex international environment in which CISM operates, with members from numerous countries, each with their own unique cultures and traditions, it is essential to standardize the uniforms and attire worn at CISM events. This standardization helps foster an atmosphere of mutual respect and cultural understanding among all participants. \nThe purpose of the CISM Dress Code Guidelines is to assist participants in selecting appropriate uniforms and attire, ensuring that they are suitable for the level of formality of the events while respecting the cultural and military traditions of the member countries. These guidelines also aim to maintain uniformity and visual discipline across all activities, promoting a cohesive and professional image. \nII. SCOPE OF APPLICATION \nThe following entities must undertake to comply and ensure compliance with the CISM Dress Code Guidelines: \na) The International Military Sports Council (CISM), each of its members and its administration and the CISM Delegations and their delegates, at all times and in all circumstances. \nb) Organizing Committees for CISM events and their officials, throughout the existence of each such Committee. \nc) All participants of CISM events for which they are accredited. \nd) Any legal or natural person that directly or indirectly participates in actions and activities developed by CISM. \nIII. CONDUCT DURING MEETINGSAND EVENTS \nAll participants are required to wear the correct uniform as prescribed in the official invitation for each specific CISM event/activity, demonstrating commitment and respect to the Host Nation, to all the other participating Nations, and to the CISM organization. \nIV. IMPLEMENTATION \nThe implementation of the CISM Dress Code Guidelines will begin from the date of approval by the BoD, with their application expanded to all CISM events. The guidelines will be made available to all member countries and published on the CISM website. \nV. CONSIDERATIONS \nThe clothing types shown here are a CISM recommendation for events in which its members and representatives are involved. \nIn the preparation of the invitation and other documents related to CISM events, the terminology for uniforms and attire to be used must adhere to these Guidelines, in order to facilitate participant identification. \nRepresentatives from each country, when attending CISM events, should strive to align their uniforms and attire as closely as possible with the specifications outlined in the invitation and these Guidelines. \nThe peculiarities and particularities of the uniforms of each Armed Force of the different CISM member countries must be respected and foll","cbCaiqBrkVnP6rXl","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaiqBrkVnP6rXl","pdf",1788535,"English","# INTRODUCTION\n# SCOPE OF APPLICATION\n# CONDUCT DURING MEETINGS AND EVENTS\n# IMPLEMENTATION\n# CONSIDERATIONS\n# DRESSING REFERENCE","[{\"question\":\"Who is required to comply with the CISM Dress Code Guidelines?\",\"answer\":\"Compliance is required from CISM, its members and administration, CISM delegations and delegates, organizing committees and officials, accredited participants, and any legal or natural person directly or indirectly participating in CISM actions and activities.\"},{\"question\":\"How should participants choose their uniform during CISM meetings and events?\",\"answer\":\"Participants must wear the correct uniform as prescribed in the official invitation for the specific CISM event or activity, demonstrating respect for the host nation, participating nations, and the CISM organization.\"},{\"question\":\"When do the CISM Dress Code Guidelines take effect and how are they published?\",\"answer\":\"Implementation begins from the date of approval by the BoD, with application expanded to all CISM events.
