It explains spell access from the Circle of Mimics spell table, the rules for mimic form and wildshape interactions, restrictions on complex or written objects, perception limits, and damage-based reversion. Further sections introduce Unnatural Druids upgrades at higher levels and the Improved Mimic Form mechanics. The text also begins an adjacent section for the Circle of the Displacer Beast, describing its illusion-focused power progression and early circle spells.",{"@graph":14,"@context":73},[15,34,56],{"@type":16,"itemListElement":17},"BreadcrumbList",[18,23,27,31],{"item":19,"name":20,"@type":21,"position":22},"https://docshare.wps.com","Home","ListItem",1,{"item":24,"name":25,"@type":21,"position":26},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/","Document",2,{"item":28,"name":29,"@type":21,"position":30},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/story-novel/","Story & Novel",3,{"item":32,"name":10,"@type":21,"position":33},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/circle-of-mimics-druid-subclass-abilities/508926/",4,{"url":32,"name":10,"@type":35,"image":36,"author":41,"headline":10,"publisher":44,"fileFormat":47,"inLanguage":8,"description":12,"dateModified":48,"datePublished":49,"encodingFormat":47,"isAccessibleForFree":50,"interactionStatistic":51},"DigitalDocument",{"url":37,"@type":38,"width":39,"height":40},"https://docshare.wps.com/thumbnails/circle-of-mimics-druid-subclass-abilities/508926.png","ImageObject",300,407,{"name":42,"@type":43},"PakDamar76","Person",{"url":19,"name":45,"@type":46},"DocShare","Organization","application/pdf","2026-10-16","2026-10-05",true,{"@type":52,"interactionType":53,"userInteractionCount":55},"InteractionCounter",{"@type":54},"ViewAction",5,{"@type":57,"mainEntity":58},"FAQPage",[59,65,69],{"name":60,"@type":61,"acceptedAnswer":62},"What does the Circle of Mimics grant at 2nd level?","Question",{"text":63,"@type":64},"It grants affinity to mimics, giving access to specific circle spells at certain levels. This affinity grants you access to some spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Circle of Mimics Spellstable . \nOnce you gain access to one of these spells, you always have it prepared, and it doesn’t count against the number of spells you can prepare each day . If you gain access to a spell that doesn’t appear on the druid spell list, the spell is nonetheless a druid spell for you . \nAdditionally, you know the Shillelagh cantrip, or another Druid cantrip of your choice if you already know Shillelagh . \nDruid Level Circle Spells \n2nd Disguise Self \n3rd Alter Self \n5th Tiny Servant \n7th Fabricate \n9th Animate Objects \nMimic Form \n2nd-level Circle of Mimics feature \nYour connection with mimics has given you the ability to take on a mimic form . As an action, you may transform into a simple object that is medium size or smaller, such as a chair, a ladder no longer than 10 feet, a simple instrument, a treasure chest (empty), or a length of rope no longer than 30 feet . While you remain motionless, you are indistinguishable from an ordinary object . \nYou may use this special action a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest . In addition, you may expend a use of your wildshape feature to transform into your mimic form . \nYou cannot transform into a complex machine such as an orrery, and if you transform into a book or other object with writing, it is either blank orthe script is gibberish . \nIn addition, you may also transform into a club, greatclub, quarterstaff, or spear that can be wielded like anyother weapon . While transformed into a weapon, you do not take damage from being used to hit other creatures . \nWhile in your mimic form, you can hear, see, speak, and move as normal, but you cannot attack, cast a spell, or use an object . You return to your normal form if you take any damage . You can also use a bonus action to return to your normal form . \nYou may use your wildshape feature to change from your mimic form to awildshape . If your mimic form is holding any objects or creatures (if you are in the form of a bag, for instance), the objects or creatures harmlessly appear in a space next to you upon changing back to your normal form or a wildshape . \nNot for resale. Permission granted to print or photocopy this document for personal use only. Unnatural Druids \n6th-level Circle of Mimics feature \nYou may now use your Mimic Form to turn into an object that is Large or smaller, such as a carriage, a small boat, or a gazebo . \nIn addition, when you transform into a weapon, you may cast Shillelagh on yourself as part of the action you use to transform . This special casting of Shillelagh applies even if you have taken the form of a spear or greatclub . \nImproved Mimic Form \n10th-level Circle of Mimics feature \nYour mimicry power grows . You may expend a use of your wildshape feature to transform into your Improved Mimic Form . While in your Improved Mimic Form, you have the statistics and abilities of a mimic , except that your Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores remain unchanged, you have a number of hit points equal to 5 times your druid level, and your pseudopod and bite attacks use your proficiency bonus . You may use attacks or any other actions in the mimic statblock . \nYou return to your normal form when your improved mimic form drops to zero hitpoints . \n14th-level Circle of Mimics feature \nYour mimicry power is at its height .
