The disassembly steps may vary with other OEM bracket setups on Small Block Chevy engines, but the installation instructions will be the same. \n• The compressor grounds through the bracket and into the engine, therefore it’s important to have a good ground connection. A separate ground wire may also be run to ensure ground continuity. \n• This kit is designed to work with or without power steering. \n• Vintage Air recommends using only Dayco, Gates or Goodyear brand reinforced V-belts with this compressor bracket kit. A Gates XL 7405 power steering belt and Gates XL 7590 compressor belt were used in this installation. However, belt lengths may vary depending on the accessories present and the diameter of the water pump, crankshaft, alternator and power steering pulleys. Measure your setup to verify the belt lengths. \nA detailed tech video outlining the installation process is available on Vintage Air’s YouTube channel at [https://bit.ly/3vgEls0](https://bit.ly/3vgEls0). \nViewing the tech video along with the written instructions will provide the installer the most detailed installation procedure. \n2 905084 REV B 04/18/22 PG 2 OF 11 \nT \nM \n[www.vintageair.com](www.vintageair.com) \nNo. \n1. \n2. \n3. \n4. \n5. \nQty. \n1 1 \n1 1 \n1 \nPart No. \n145000 \n145001 \n145002646983191111 \nPacking List: Bracket Kit (151583) \nDescription \nBracket, Compressor, Rear Bracket, Compressor, Front \nBracket, Power Steering Compressor Tensioning Tool Hardware Kit \n** Before beginning installation, open all packages and check contents of shipment.
