All picture cards may not need to be identified; just use your judgment and identify the ones that you think may be difficult for your child (such as comb or chainsaw) .  \n• Shuffle all cards and divide them between the two players.  \n• Players place their deck facedown.  \n• At the same time, players turn over their top card and place it face-up so both players can see it, making two piles (one for each player) . If the two face-up cards begin with different sounds (such as cake and chalk) players continue drawing cards from their piles and stacking them face-up.  \n• If the two face-up cards start with the same beginning sound (like those found in chips and chalk), the first player to slap either pile and say, “Check it!” gets to collect both piles of face-up cards.  \n• The player who has the most cards at the end of the game is the winner.  \nVariation: If 3 players are playing, divide the cards up evenly.
