Many of the suggested activities and lesson plans involve comparative studies of two or more versions of the Cinderella tale, as it is a traditional story in many parts of the world. For this reason, these activities naturally integrate language with social studies. There are also many adaptations and“fractured” versions of Cinderella; many of the lesson plans below suggest comparing a standard version with a “fractured” one, and DuffleBag’s production is a perfect example! You will find all of the versions referenced in the lesson plans in our Cinderella bibliography. Suggestions are designed to target all learning styles at all levels of Bloom’s taxonomy, and to accommodate ESL and FSL learners as well as exceptional students.
