Ziv-TV productions of the underwater thriller,Sea Hunt. \nAt first glance, such a statement seems far fetched and the basisfor considerable disagreement. However,Ivan Tors is firmly con-vinced that he is right. \nIn the series,Lloyd Bridges is cast as Mike Nelson,an ex-Navyfrogman who is an expert on oceanography and marine biology.Hehires himself out for daring adventures at the bottom of the world'sseas in search of clues to crimes, sunken ships, scientific informationand lost treasures. \nIn developing the individual stories for the series, real incidentsand an adventurous imagination are the main sources for each theme. The first story in the series dealt with a jet pilot who crashed to theocean floor where he was trapped in his air-tight cockpit. This wassuggested by a similar accident that actually happened. Then, whenthe Ziv production team chose Silver Springs,Florida,as their mid-winter location site, they found that it was close to Tarpon Springs, one of the last places in the United States where Greek-born spongedivers are at work.Few of these old-timers have learned modernskin-diving methods and they continue to use the “hard-hat”suitswhich are connected to their air supply by a long hose. This immedi-ately suggested a story about youngsters who were trying to introducethe new techniques. Then, too, since Florida is alligator country, astory about what would happen if the alligators and tourists became \nmixed up seemed a natural. \nThe story supply is unlimited.Allit takes is imagination to see“whatwould happen if ...?”For ex-ample,what would happen if twocameramen became trapped in theshark-infested waters of the Carib-bean,or if a killer whale was block-ading a strip of coastline, capsizingboats and harrassing skin-divers andswimmers,or if every fish in thearea of a Mexican fishing villagewere to disappear,or if communistagents had kidnapped a scientistand
