She still plays the first 7/8 size violin her mum bought for her at a farm auction in 1991 for the price of £20.  \nCaroline moved to Darwin from Perth WA in 1999 and has largely lived in the NT since then. She enrolled in the Bachelor of Music offered by then NTU (now CDU) and studied with Martin Jarvis, with other valuable input from Adrian Walter, David Matthew and Rebecca Harris to name a few. After a few years playing for DSO, Caroline also enjoys performing on violin and viola with her various bands and classical ensembles.
