The carnival’s goal is to free the bard Ranjan Adwani from his curse. But accomplishing this task will be a great challenge as there are two powers at work in Kalakeri, Loyalists and Rebels. And both of them want to use the characters to destroy the opponent. \n􀀥􀁄􀁆􀁎􀁊􀁕􀁒􀁘􀁑􀁇 \n􀀺􀁋􀁄􀁗’􀁖 􀁗􀁋􀁈 􀁇􀁈􀁄􀁏􀀢 \nFor the purposes of this adventure, Kalakeri is considered to be a unique domain: it has a McGuffin hidden inside it that can drag it out of the Mists-a Vochalam Orb. Naturally, The Caller has other plans for this domain and does not want the Orb to be used in this way. Arijani, leader of the Kalakeri’s Rebels, wants to use the orb to heal his sister. Characters might have other plans for it (for example, restoring Syndal Svuo’s heart-see Lamordia: Hardest of Hearts adventure). \n􀀦􀁘􀁕􀁕􀁈􀁑􀁗 􀁖􀁗􀁄􀁗􀁈 􀁒􀁉 􀁗􀁋􀁈 􀁇􀁒􀁐􀁄􀁌􀁑 \nThe war inside the Vasavadan family tears the country apart. Arijani and his sister Reeva wage war against Ramya, who is currently holding the seat of power on the Sapphire Throne. While Arijani is mostly fine with his new nature, and his mind is busy with gathering allies and attracting more people to his cause, Reeva’s fiendish form deeply troubles her. As time passes, she hates herself more and more, almost losing her mind sometimes. This results in her desire to hurt and destroy beautiful things and people. And there seems to be no cure for her condition-no matter what foul magic or dark ritual she tries, she can’t revert her arcanaloth form. Arijani decides that it can’t continue this way-he needs his sister sane by his side, so they can finally defeat Ramya and win this war together. \n􀀹􀁒􀁆􀁋􀁄􀁏􀁄􀁐 􀁗􀁈􀁐􀁓􀁏􀁈 􀁋􀁌􀁖􀁗􀁒􀁕􀁜 􀁄􀁑􀁇 􀁌􀁗􀁖 􀁓􀁘􀁕􀁓􀁒􀁖􀁈 \nLong time ago, before Kalakeri fell and were dragged into the Mists, it was a beautiful prosperous country watched closely by the gods from above, and the chief among the pantheon was the mysterious goddess of fate and time-Shuruaat. \nAt the dawn of Kalakeri’s creation, Krishran, Shuruaat’s High Priest, won an extraordinary Favor from the goddess for the deeds he had done in Her name.
