As she turned around, she nearly stumbled on a basket of tomatoes sitting on the ground but managed to grab ahold of Dave’s arm to steady herself. \n“You OK?” Dave asked with a slight chuckle while wrapping his other arm around her waist. \nMargaret nodded in thought.“I am. I think I’m just a little too excited,”she said, taking a step back to get a full view of the new farm stand.“I still can’t believe you built this within weeks.” \nDave rubbed his chin as the cicadas became louder and louder around them. “It worked out perfectly. My brother had spare time to help, as well as some guys from Pinetree Wildlife Refuge. Then Dale, Chris, and Greg stopped by—mostly to have a drink and talk, but they nailed a board or two,” he said with a smile. \nMargaret shook her head in disbelief. “It’s probably the most gorgeous farm stand I’ve ever seen. It looks like a tiny house. I mean, you’ve added windows, blue shutters, and white wood siding,” she said while walking over to a window and peering in. \nDave shrugged.“I wanted to make it unique to us,” he said while sitting down in one of the teal rocking chairs he’d placed on a cement patio in \nfront of the stand. \nMargaret smiled and looked up at the large oak tree shading them from the scorching August sun above. Then she gazed at the stone pathway Dave had put in that led from the street to the stand.“So much work went into this. I’m just …impressed.” \nDave blushed then stood up and walked inside the farm stand with Margaret following behind.“Now, I built this extra counter for the money box and bags for the customer.” \nMargaret nodded. “That will work great since we’re doing the honor system. They can leave their payment in the locked box and bag their items before leaving.” \n“Exactly,” Dave said while bending down to pick up the basket of red Roma tomatoes Margaret had nearly tripped on earlier.“Where should I put this?” \nMargaret scanned the stand.“Gosh, we’re fully stocked, aren’t we? I have to fit them in somewhere. How about there?” she said, pointing next toa basket of onions. \nThe little stand was chock-full of freshly picked homegrown garden produce: zucchini, tomatoes in every color and size, cucumbers, peppers, eggplants. You name it. Also offered were colorful zinnia, celosia, bells of Ireland, and sunflower bouquets. White string lights had been strung from corner to corner across the ceiling, and sweet little vintage teacups and saucers, books, and trinkets that Margaret had thrifted sat nestled inbetween all of it both for decoration and to buy. \nDave walked to the oak tree, grabbed the six-foot ladder leaning against it, and stood it up in the front of the stand. \n“What are you doing?” Margaret asked as she watched him walk back inside the farm stand. \nDave kneeled down and pulled out a wooden slab from under the counter then carried it to the ladder.“I made a sign.” \nMargaret stared at the large wooden slab with eye hooks drilled into it.“Really? But we haven’t come up with a name.” \nDave smiled.“We did, remember? Last week you came up with something great,” he said while climbing up the ladder and hanging the sign on the hooks. \nMargaret shook her head as she racked her brain, not remembering any of it, but as she saw the writing on the sign, it came back to her. The Beach House Market. \n“You mentioned that the farm stand reminded you of a little beach house, and it stuck with me,” Dave said as he hopped off the ladder and folded it up while staring up at the sign. \nMargaret smiled. “I can’t believe you remembe","cbCaiq47uizp3RjV","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaiq47uizp3RjV","pdf",838118,5,114,"English","en",105,"# Chapter One\n## Farm stand setup\n## The Beach House Market sign\n## Honesty system and inventory\n## Fairy garden planning\n## Preparing for the next errand","[{\"question\":\"Margaret和Dave在Chapter One里做了哪些农场摊位准备？ \"}]","CAPE MAY GLITTER - Chapter One | PDF",1785472459,176,{"code":4,"msg":31,"data":32},"ok",{"site_id":24,"language":23,"slug":33,"title":13,"keywords":34,"description":14,"schema_data":35,"social_meta":87,"head_meta":89,"extra_data":91,"updated_unix":28},"cape-may-glitter-chapter-one","",{"@graph":36,"@context":86},[37,54,69],{"@type":38,"itemListElement":39},"BreadcrumbList",[40,44,48,51],{"item":41,"name":42,"@type":43,"position":11},"https://docshare.wps.com","Home","ListItem",{"item":45,"name":46,"@type":43,"position":47},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/","Document",2,{"item":49,"name":12,"@type":43,"position":50},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/story-novel/",3,{"item":52,"name":13,"@type":43,"position":53},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/cape-may-glitter-chapter-one/115339/",4,{"url":52,"name":13,"@type":55,"author":56,"headline":13,"publisher":58,"fileFormat":61,"inLanguage":23,"description":14,"dateModified":62,"datePublished":63,"encodingFormat":61,"isAccessibleForFree":64,"interactionStatistic":65},"DigitalDocument",{"name":9,"@type":57},"Person",{"url":41,"name":59,"@type":60},"DocShare","Organization","application/pdf","2026-08-23","2026-07-31",true,{"@type":66,"interactionType":67,"userInteractionCount":20},"InteractionCounter",{"@type":68},"ViewAction",{"@type":70,"mainEntity":71},"FAQPage",[72,78,82],{"name":73,"@type":74,"acceptedAnswer":75},"Margaret和Dave在Chapter One里做了哪些农场摊位准备？","Question",{"text":76,"@type":77},"他们摆放向日葵与蔬果篮，整理摊位陈列，并追加用于收款的柜台与方便顾客取装的袋子。","Answer",{"name":79,"@type":74,"acceptedAnswer":80},"“The Beach House Market”这个名字是怎么被确定的？",{"text":81,"@type":77},"Dave提到Margaret上周说这座摊位像小海边小屋，于是他用木质牌匾挂在摊位前，并采用了对应的名字。",{"name":83,"@type":74,"acceptedAnswer":84},"Harper和Abby在摊位附近安排了什么活动？",{"text":85,"@type":77},"两人准备搭建仙子花园，将迷你蘑菇、石头、座椅与小房子等道具摆放在院子里。","https://schema.org",{"og:url":52,"og:type":88,"og:title":13,"og:site_name":59,"og:description":14},"article",{"robots":90,"canonical":52},"index,follow",{"doc_id":7,"site_id":24},{"code":4,"msg":5,"data":93},[94,97,101,105,109,114,119,124,129,132,136],{"id":11,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":12,"show_sort_weight":95,"slug":96},90,"story-novel",{"id":47,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":98,"show_sort_weight":99,"slug":100},"Literature",80,"literature",{"id":53,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":102,"show_sort_weight":103,"slug":104},"Exam",70,"exam",{"id":20,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":106,"show_sort_weight":107,"slug":108},"Comic",60,"comic",{"id":110,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":111,"show_sort_weight":112,"slug":113},6,"Technology",50,"technology",{"id":115,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":116,"show_sort_weight":117,"slug":118},7,"Healthcare",40,"healthcare",{"id":120,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":121,"show_sort_weight":122,"slug":123},8,"Research & Report",30,"research-report",{"id":125,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":126,"show_sort_weight":127,"slug":128},9,"Religion & Spirituality",20,"religion-spirituality",{"id":127,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":130,"show_sort_weight":127,"slug":131},"World Cup","world-cup",{"id":133,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":134,"show_sort_weight":133,"slug":135},10,"Lifestyle","lifestyle",{"id":137,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":138,"show_sort_weight":20,"slug":139},19,"General","general"]
