They welcomed the CPF’s sector-specific approach that balances sustained engagement with renewed efforts to support Cameroon in addressing key binding constraints to growth and poverty-reduction at a time of heightened uncertainty.  \nDirectors welcomed the CPF’s focus on job creation and inclusive institutions, emphasizing the importance of adopting a One WBG approach to accelerate private sector-led growth to drive Cameroon’s development, especially for women and youth. They welcomed the continued efforts to enhance fiscal consolidation and promote renewable energy access. They noted Cameroon’s potential to promote regional integration and economic transformation. They also supported service delivery institutions to renew the social contract and tackle the drivers of fragility. They looked forward to the WBG’s engagement with the country on sustainable forests through the planned Global Challenge Programs.  \nDirectors welcomed the CPF’s commitment to enhancing the WBG portfolio outcomes, by expediting project implementation, strengthening local capacity, and using the ongoing reforms and data for operational efficiency and effectiveness.
