the qualification, there are some changes to carry forward options available for assessment in 2026 only. These are summarised below.  \nAssessment in 2026  \nIt will not be possible to carry forward any marks assessed according to the pre-revision version of the syllabus into 2026.  \nCandidates will not be able to carry forward the marks they achieved in 2025 for coursework (Component 2 Performing or Component 3 Composing) .  \nCandidates will be able to carry forward the marks they achieve in 2026 for coursework components. This coursework will have been assessed according to the revised version of the 0978 syllabus.
