These tests are designed to take learners from beginner level up to CEFR level A2. \nThere’s no pass or fail in these tests – instead, every student gets a certificate with between one and five shields in each paper to show their level of achievement. \nWhat’s in the Pre A1 Starters test? \nPre A1 Starters is the first level of the series and is aimed at students aged 7+. Instructions are simple and the content of the test consists only of the words and structures outlined in the Pre A1 Starters syllabus. The official vocabulary list for Pre A1 Starters is included at the back of this guide, and the full syllabus can be found in the Cambridge English Qualifications Young Learner’s Handbook for Teachers. \nThe test has three papers: \n\n| Paper | Length | Number of parts | Number of items |\n| --- | --- | --- | --- |\n| Listening | approx. 20 minutes","cbCaibvwIFvuxkmN","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaibvwIFvuxkmN","pdf",6160286,47,"English","# Introduction\n# Guide to Cambridge English Qualifications Pre A1 Starters\n## Listening\n## Reading & Writing\n## Speaking\n## Tips for students on test day\n## Vocabulary practice\n## Key to tests\n# Test 1\n## Audio scripts for Listening\n## Answer key\n## Scripts for Speaking\n# Test 2\n## Audio scripts for Listening\n## Answer key\n## Scripts for Speaking\n# Test 3\n## Audio scripts for Listening\n## Answer key\n## Scripts for Speaking\n## Vocabulary list\n# How to use this guide and the practice tests","[{\"question\":\"What is the Pre A1 Starters test designed for, and what level does it target?\",\"answer\":\"Pre A1 Starters is aimed at learners of English between the ages of 7 and 12, with simple instructions and content based on the Pre A1 Starters syllabus.
