These sample assessment materials have been developed to support this qualification and will be used as the benchmark to develop the assessment students will take. This covers either an exam or task. |\n| Sample Marked Learner Work | Indicative example of learner work which has been assessed accurately to national standards. |\n\nSection 1: How and where can I use the existing content? \nHeadlines \nThere are fewer units available on the BTEC National (2016) Performing Arts qualifications as well as fewer ‘pathway’ options. Endorsed pathway titles only feature in the largest size, Extended Diploma, and in Dance, Acting or Musical Theatre. However, selected combinations of optional units can be delivered at any qualification size in order to reflect specific performance disciplines. \nThere are a total of seven mandatory units across the BTEC National (2016) qualifications, and as is the case with BTEC Nationals (2010) in Performing Arts, these can be delivered and assessed within the context of one or more chosen performance disciplines. \nSimilar to 2010 optional units, the 2016 optional units are 60 guided learning hours (GLH), whilst mandatory units on the 2016 qualifications v are either 90 or 120 GLH. A key change is the introduction of externally assessed units which, with the exception of Unit 3 Group Performance Workshop, require coverage of areas of taught and assessed content that does not feature significantly in the 2010 specifications. \nIn terms of unit structure, the new BTEC National (2016) internally assessed units conform to a consistent structure of Learning Aims and Content. This includes: assessment of \nknowledge/understanding related to the unit (Learning Aim A); development and application of skills and techniques (Learning Aims B and C); review and reflection on development of skills and techniques (Learning Aim D) . \nAt a glance \n􀁺 Exact match \n􀁻 Partial match \n\n| | BTEC Level 3 NQF Mandatory Units | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |\n| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |\n| BTEC Level 3 QCF units | | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |\n| | 1 | | | 􀁻 | | 􀁻 | 􀁻 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | ","cbCairod7S7GmpAe","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCairod7S7GmpAe","pdf",516352,"English","# Introduction\n# Section 1: How and where can I use the existing content?\n## Headlines\n## At a glance\n# Section 2: What do these changes mean for planning and teaching?","[{\"question\":\"What is the document’s purpose for BTEC Performing Arts transitions?\",\"answer\":\"It maps unit content when moving from BTEC Nationals (2010) qualifications to BTEC Nationals (2016), showing how closely units correspond and what is newly included.\"},{\"question\":\"How do unit quantities and pathway options change in the 2016 qualifications?\",\"answer\":\"The 2016 Performing Arts qualifications have fewer available units and fewer pathway options, with endorsed pathway titles mainly appearing in the largest size and specific disciplines.\"},{\"question\":\"What changed regarding assessment and unit structure in 2016?\",\"answer\":\"A key change is the introduction of externally assessed units (with an exception noted for Unit 3 Group Performance Workshop).
