They stressed the importance of complementarity of World Bank financing and technical assistance with other Bank initiatives, including its engagement on policy reforms, building on lessons learned, especially in middleincome countries. They inquired about the sustainability of the project investments and the main risks to the project objectives stemming from the uncertain COVID-19 situation, as well as the macroeconomic and poverty outlook.  \nDirectors acknowledged the strong political support and the draft 2021 budget supporting the planned Bolsa Familia expansion as mitigating factors.
