Directors emphasized the need to reinforce governance efforts and institutional reforms with a focus on transparency and integrity in fighting against corruption.  \nDirectors noted the importance of integrating the CPF implementation with the WBG Global Challenge Program on Forest and Biodiversity to incentivize Brazil to support global public goods, particularly the preservation of the Amazon Forest and biodiversity. They noted the need to engage with hard-to-abate sectors in promoting decarbonization and designing policies that enable sustainability.  \nWhile recognizing IFC and MIGA’s evolving additionality, Directors sought clarity on the WBG’s plan to achieve the private capital mobilization (PCM) target during the CPF period and encouraged IFC to enhance its catalytic role under this new CPF.
