The weather was perfect and our students took to the pool to compete in the events while their teammates cheered from the sidelines in their House-colours.
Athletics Carnival early next term. Mr Welch-Co-curricular Coordinator
HOUSE POINTS TALLY:
MOBILE PHONE POLICY
As you would be aware, we have a very clear Mobile Phone policy, aligned to Department of Education requirements for all schools. This means that for students, mobile phones are required to be switched off and securely stored in lockers during the school day. While we live in a world surrounded by technology, we know that mobile phones can cause a distraction from learning and are impacting on the development of respectful and supportive relationships. Last week we communicated to all students very clear expectations with regards to mobile phones at school and we seek your support with this. We also have quite a number of mobile phone locker bays around the school for students to securely deposit their mobile phones. Please be aware that any communication between parents and students during the school day, will need to be through the General Office. It is also timely to remind everyone that students need to be taking care with any valuable items they bring to school, understanding that students bring these to school not as school requirements, but at their own risk.
TUTOR SUPPORT PROGRAM
Joining us this year are our Tutors, Ms Claire Brennan (3 days); Ms Jenny Denison (1 day); Ms Gullinar Gafar (2 days); Ms Anne Gould (5 days), Ms Kirstie Hoskin-Elliot (3 days in Term 1 only); Ms Christine Jumpertz (3 days); Ms Despina Kallis (5 days); Ms Helen Pouliassis (4 days), Mr Nghia Truong (2 days from Term 2 onwards); Ms Jasmine Tsolakidis (1 day) and Mr Joseph Xuereb (5 days) .
Our Tutors have been working in classes to support students whose learning was disrupted last year as a direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

| IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER |
| --- |
| MONDAY 8TH MARCH-LABOUR DAY HOLIDAY

WEDNESDAY 10TH MARCH-TWILIGHT EXPO-5.00PM-7.00PM FRIDAY 19TH MARCH-7A, 7B, 7C AND 7D SLEEPOVER WEDNESDAY 24TH MARCH-SCHOOL PHOTOS TUESDAY 30TH MARCH-PARENT/TEACHER INTERVIEWS
THURSDAY 1ST APRIL-LAST DAY OF TERM 1- (2.18PM FINISH) |

2022-YEAR 7 STUDENTS
TWILIGHT EXPO
Wednesday 10th March
5.00pm-7.00pm
Tour of College facilities and classroom demonstrations Opportunity to meet key personnel
| |
| --- |
| |

2021-SCHOOL TOURS
Term 1: Monday 15th March Wednesday 31st March
Term 2: Tuesday 20th April Friday 7th May Thursday 20th May
Tours will be conducted at 9 .30am.
