If the variety is said to bloom in 50-60 days, they will bloom in 50-60 days. However, some varieties can take up to 100 days to bloom.  \nThere are about 70 species of sunflowers. You’ll find  \n25 varieties at Bloom Sunflower Festival.  \nSunflowers follow the sun: Sunflowers are sun worshippers. The French word for sunflower is “tournesol”  \nwhich literally translates as‘turns with the sun’.  \nThe sky’sthe limit:  \nSunflowers have been recorded as growing up to 30 feet tall.
