We were talking about how people have been obsessed with flight for as long as we know.  \nFrom Daedalus through Leonardo da Vinci to Neil Armstrong, human history is peppered with the fantasy of taking to the skies – I know I’ve dreamed about flying my whole life.  \nSimon told me that his father was once asked why he liked birds so much, to which he replied,“Well, they can fly.”I couldn’t help but laugh at the sheer, simple joy of it.  \nEver since, I’ve found watching birds more straightforward and, in turn, more rewarding.
