Everybody was especially thrilled by a video of the young cubs jumping inandoutofthe wildflower meadow in the local primary school. They were so adorable.  \nAt dusk, pipistrelle bats flit around the same school field, while we see buzzardsand red kitesin the sky most days. And that’s before we even get into the toads I dodge on the cycle path into the city centre, the damselflies and dragonflies that dance along the brook, the hedgehog poo that litters my lawn and the huge variety of birds and invertebrates we can all see on a daily basis.  \nOur urban spaces area haven for wildlife – I even sawa badgerstrolling along the pavement in Bath one evening this spring. As human expansion around the world means that animals and people are increasingly having to adapt to live alongside eachother, it’sa thrill tobe able to watch wildlife as partofour day-today urban lives.
