\nThe boy's lawyer,KitsonFoong,who briefed the media onthe closed-door proceedings,said the teachers'testimony fo-cused on what happened in andaround the school toilet beforecontinuing with events in theschool compound.  \nThe teachers were Nursyaz-wani Saari,Syaza Sahira AbdulJalil,Muhammad Alif AbdulRazak and Mohd Qauyyum Fir-daus Juhar.  \n\"They testified up to the pointof how they intervened to stopthe boy,regain control of the sit-uation and recover the knife.  \n\"One of the teachers also tes-tified about helping to place thegirl (the 16-year-old deceased)onto a stretcher.\"  \nFoong Daman-sara(4),Bandar Utama,PetalingJaya,between 9.20am and  \n9.35am on Oct 14 last year.  \nThe victim was a Form Fourstudent.  \nThe charge carries the deathpenalty,or imprisonment of notless than 30 years and not morethan 40 years,and 12 strokes ofthe rotan upon conviction.  \nHowever,under Section 97(1)ofthe Child Act 2001,the death sen-tence cannot be imposed on aperson who was a child at thetime of the offence.  \nInstead,Section 97(2)stipu-lates that they shall be detainedat the pleasure of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong if the offence oc-curred in the Federal Territories,or the ruler or
