into 2014,I want you all to know thatl am very honored to serve as your Commodore.Ihave the good fortune of following several AYCBoards that,with the help of our strong volunteermembership,have worked for several years to setthe Club on a path of growth and improvement.While mother nature has decided to challenge us  \nwith unprecedented lake levels,I am grealy encouraged by our responseas a Club and am optimistic that if we continue to invest in the future,wewill all be proud to be part of this Club and be able to enjoy the sport ofsailing at any lake level.  \nI hope that AYC willbe known as the place in central Texas for sailingenthusiasts of allages and ability levels.I ask each of our members tojoin me this year in the effort to continue to work hard on growing ourmembership.It seems pretly simple to me-we need new members tothrive as a Club;therefore,we need a Club that has the programs andfacilities to aftract,and retain,new members.In the past few years theClub has invested considerable time and money in sail training programsand has started tackling several large capital improvemenf projects toupgrade our facilifies on land and in the harbor.I think the results speakfor
