quick,meaningful,standards-based work that wouldhelp my students solidify some important skills through repetition.  \nThese morning work activities are designed to be engaging and fun,while also integrating reading,math,science,social studies,and health.Using these activities in your daily morning routine will help yourstudents with:  \n·  Reading Comprehension:Find text evidence for“right there”questions.  \n·  Writing:Be exposed to various genres of writing,including opinion,functional,narrative,and readingresponse passages.Students will be required to use examples and details to support their thinking.  \n·  Math:Create and respond to questions about bar graphs.  \nI recommend giving your students approximately 15 minutes to complete all of the activities eachmorning.  \nReview and Quality Control  \nLet's be honest.You don't need“one more thing”to grade.Who has time for that?Spend five minuteseach day reviewing student responses and asking follow-up graphing questions as a class.  \nI do recommend taking a few minutes either every day or weekly to do quick checks in your classes'journals.  \nI prefer“quick checks”daily.In the last few minutes of morning work time,rotate through thedlassroom with your flair pen,and skim students'work to give them feedback(orally or written).Quickcheck marks show that you checked certain entries.If you are not
