This keeps everything running smoothly with little to no rushing at the end! Tardiness can hinder their allowed time slots \n Have a large open low-traffic space with electrical plug access, natural light (as available), and tables/counters for artists to set up and work off of! ( First floor or elevator access preferred!!) \n Wear an open neck or button down shirt to remove easily after your beauty services. ( Robes are great!) \n Make sure everyone brings their Hair and Makeup inspiration photos for the looks that they want. We recommend to choose inspirational photos that have similar features as the person, like similar hair color, eye color, face shape, etc. This will set the tone for realistic expectations for your hair and makeup. \n Steam outfits before hair and makeup services so it’s easier to complete your getting ready time \nHair Prep: \nDO: SHAMPOO AND BLOWDRY YOUR HAIR THE NIGHT BEFORE THE WEDDING: Double Shampoo your hair & condition mid length to ends the night before or day of the wedding if your hair is very oily you can wait until the morning to complete this step. Aslong as you have the time to fully dry your hair the day of your wedding. This will ensure your hair is clean & completely dry and free of oil or build up. Your hair MUST be completely blow dried using a detangling comb or round brush after washing your hair. Flip your head upsdie down, do a quick blow dry until is about 70% dry the brush as you continue to brush & dry your hair until is 100% dry. This will help smooth your hair and add shine. It will also help reduce frizz and create some natural volume in the hair. \nNote: Bridal party will not receive a blowout unless that is the selected style chosen. \nDON’T: GO TO SLEEP WITH YOUR HAIR WET/IN A MESSY BUN: \nAfter shampooing your hair, please make sure it is completely dry before going to sleep. Sleeping with wet hair or hair up can not only damage or break your hair, but it can also cause your hair to become more frizzy and also can add unwanted textures to the hair-creating a less than perfect canvas to work with. \nDO: ADD STYLING PRODUCTS WHEN BLOW DRYING YOUR HAIR \nIf you are unsure of what type of products to add to your hair before a blow dry, ask your wedding day hairstylist. If you have fine, limp hair I would suggest a heat protectant plus a volumizing mousse in order to add shine and body to the hair. If you have curly or wavy hair, but do not want to keep the natural curl pattern incorporated into the style; utilize a serum or conditioning product then add a blowout straightening product. If you would like to keep the natural curl in tact; utilize a curl enhancing product and then diffuse the hair. \nDON’T: THROW YOUR HAIR IN A BUN IN THE MORNING \nI know my long hair babes want that hair off your neck and our of your face while getting ready for the day, but please do not throw your hair into a ponytail or messy bun the morning of the wedding. This can cause unwanted kinks and dents in the hair. If you need to pull it back away from your face, pull it half back using a claw clip or silk \nscarf instead of a band or scrunchie. \nFollowing these simple steps & tips will ensure your wedding day hair & \nmakeup turns out great! \nWedding Prep Timeline Guide \nIt can be overwhelming planning a wedding, but we are here to make it easier for you to look gorgeous on your day!
