Find a cardboard box at least the size of a shoe box. \n2. Choose your habitat scene (coral reef or seagrass) and print the template. TIP: It’s best to use card for this as paper can be a little flimsy. If you don’t have any card, get an old cereal box or similar, glue your printed paper template to the card (so your creatures don’t bend). \n3. Decorate the inside of your box using crayons, pencils, markers, glitter and cellophane to create the backdrop for your underwater scene. TIP: Blue and green cellophane gives a great underwater effect. \n4. Decorate and cut out plants and animals from the template and attach them to the inside of the box. \n• Paste rocks, coral, seaweed and seagrass to the base of the box with glue or tape, using the tab at the base of the object. \n• Hang fish, turtle, shark and other animals to the roof of the box using tape and thread. TIPS: \n• You may also like to draw and decorate your own plants and animals! \n• Use additional craft supplies (if available) to decorate. For example: pipe cleaners make great seaweed. \n• Small plastic toys or figurines make a great addition to your scene. \n5. Put your virtual aquarium on display for everyone to enjoy. \nMore resources like this are available at [http://marinewaters.fish.wa.gov.au](http://marinewaters.fish.wa.gov.au) \n2854/17 \n Seagrass habitat \nCoral reef habitat","cbCaisphCvxX2LGC","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaisphCvxX2LGC","pdf",1454254,"English","# Materials\n## Optional materials\n# Instructions\n## Choose and print the template\n## Decorate the box interior\n## Cut and attach plants and animals\n## Add rocks and hang animals\n## Display your virtual aquarium","[{\"question\":\"What materials are required to make the virtual aquarium diorama?\",\"answer\":\"You need a cardboard box (at least shoebox size), a printed coral reef or seagrass habitat template, paper and/or card, crayons/pencils/markers, tape, thread, glue, and scissors.\"},{\"question\":\"Which habitat scenes can you create with this guide?\",\"answer\":\"The diorama can be made as either a coral reef habitat or a seagrass habitat.\"},{\"question\":\"How do you attach the creatures and plants inside the box?\",\"answer\":\"Decorate the box interior, cut out plants and animals from the template, attach them inside using glue or tape, paste rocks/coral/seaweed/seagrass to the base, and hang fish and other animals from the roof using tape and thread.\"}]","Art-Craft Diorama - Virtual Aquarium - Instructions | PDF"]
