INSTRUCTIONS AND RULES  \nRead the Filing Instructions and the Rules Governing Admission,15-701 through 15-720.  \n## STEP 2-REFERENCES\n\nSelect three people to act as references:one attorney,one employer,and one general.Inform them that they can expect an electronic notification once you submit yourapplication,which allows them to electronically complete and submit their referenceform apart from your application.  \n## STEP3-LAW SCHO0L GRADUATION\n\nIf you have not graduated from law school,please move to Step 4.If you have graduatedor will graduate from law school,send the Certificate of Law School Graduation form toyour law school for completion and ensure it is sent to you to upload it with yourapplication.  \n## GATHERING INFORMATION\n\nSTEP 4-CRIMINAL RECORDS  \nIf you have ever been arrested,served with a summons,cited,indicted,charged,tried,orinvestigated for an infraction,felony,or misdemeanor in any jurisdiction,contact theappropriate court to obtain all available court records.Also contact the appropriate lawenforcement agency to obtain a copy of the police report.If either authority does nothave the requested documentation,you must obtain written confirmation from them.Ifthe incident has been expunged,you must upload a copy of the expungement order orproof from the law enforcement agency that they have no record of you.  \n## STEP 5-MILITARY RECORDS\n\nIf you have ever been in the military,obtain copies of your DD-214(s)(or theequivalent).If you have been in the military in the last 5 years you must also obtaincopies of your OER(s)(or the equivalent).  \n## STEP6-CREDIT HISTORY\n\nPull a credit report.Ensure that your finances are in order (ifyou have any accounts pastdue you will not be approved by the LPP Admissions Committee).Make a note of thefollowing(you must report these facts even if they do not show up on your credit report):  \n(1)Any accounts that have been charged off,sent to collections,or settled for lessthan the full balance in the last ten years.  \n(2)Any accounts on which you have been more than 60 days late on a payment inthe last two years.  \n(3)Any credit card or charge account that was revoked or closed for non-paymentin the last ten years.  \n## STEP 7-BANKRIPTCY\n\nIf you have had a bankruptcy,obtain copies of the petition,schedules,and dischargeorder.If you have a pending Chapter 13 bankruptcy you must also obtain a copy of yourpayment history.If any adversary proceedings or other suits were filed in relation to thebankruptcy,obtain a copy of all of the pleadings.  \n## STEP8-TAXES\n\nEnsure that you are current on all your tax obligations.If any tax liens have ever beenfiled against you,obtain a copy of the lien and its release.If neither of these areavailable,obtain a copy of the court docket.  \n## STEP9-CIVIL CASES\n\nIf you have ever been a party to or if you have ever been named or described in any civilproceeding,action,suit,arbitration,or administrative proceeding(including
