The message specifies that exams will occur with changes: selectable dates, shorter 45-minute exams, an online/remote format, and reduced content. Mechanics will exclude oscillations and gravitation, while E&M will cover early-semester units through circuits but omit later unit topics. Suggested daily practice includes using a “Semester 2 Review” folder and online resources for additional problem review.",{"@graph":14,"@context":73},[15,34,56],{"@type":16,"itemListElement":17},"BreadcrumbList",[18,23,27,31],{"item":19,"name":20,"@type":21,"position":22},"https://docshare.wps.com","Home","ListItem",1,{"item":24,"name":25,"@type":21,"position":26},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/","Document",2,{"item":28,"name":29,"@type":21,"position":30},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/exam/","Exam",3,{"item":32,"name":10,"@type":21,"position":33},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/ap-physics-mr-potter-ap-exam-preparation-activities-and-updated-test-modifications/449773/",4,{"url":32,"name":10,"@type":35,"image":36,"author":41,"headline":10,"publisher":44,"fileFormat":47,"inLanguage":8,"description":12,"dateModified":48,"datePublished":49,"encodingFormat":47,"isAccessibleForFree":50,"interactionStatistic":51},"DigitalDocument",{"url":37,"@type":38,"width":39,"height":40},"https://docshare.wps.com/thumbnails/ap-physics-mr-potter-ap-exam-preparation-activities-and-updated-test-modifications/449773.png","ImageObject",300,407,{"name":42,"@type":43},"Olivia Brown","Person",{"url":19,"name":45,"@type":46},"DocShare","Organization","application/pdf","2026-10-31","2026-09-30",true,{"@type":52,"interactionType":53,"userInteractionCount":55},"InteractionCounter",{"@type":54},"ViewAction",8,{"@type":57,"mainEntity":58},"FAQPage",[59,65,69],{"name":60,"@type":61,"acceptedAnswer":62},"What changes were announced for the AP Physics exams?","Question",{"text":63,"@type":64},"The exams will take place with modifications, including two different selectable exam dates, shorter 45-minute exams, and an online/remote format with Free Response questions likely being emphasized.","Answer",{"name":66,"@type":61,"acceptedAnswer":67},"Which topics are excluded from the AP Physics C Mechanics test?",{"text":68,"@type":64},"Mechanics will cover everything from the first semester except oscillations (springs, pendula) and gravitation, including the Universal Law of Gravitation and related applications.",{"name":70,"@type":61,"acceptedAnswer":71},"What content is included and excluded in the AP Physics C E&M test?",{"text":72,"@type":64},"E&M will cover everything from the first two units, including electrostatics topics, circuits, and related laws and components. However, the College Board has released a statement saying that exams WILL take place (with modifications) . Among those modifications include: two different exam dates (you choose which day to take the exam), shorter exams (45 min), modified format (TBA later – but most likely only Free Response questions), less content (see below) and all testing is online/remote. I will update you as I learn more in the coming weeks – probably by April 3rd! \nSo although no “new” material will be covered and nothing is graded – and officially everything is optional – I am going to provide you with some activities that I suggest you engage with to stay ready and prepare for the AP test. I suggest you spend (at least) 20min per day on it. \nThe modifications, content-wise, are: the AP Physics C Mechanics test will cover everything we covered 1st semester EXCEPT oscillations (springs, pendula) and gravitation (the Universal Law of Gravitation and applications) . The AP Physics C E&M test will cover everything we covered in the first two units of this current semester (Electrostatics, Coulomb’s Law, Gauss’s Law, Electric Potential, Conductors, Capacitors, Resistors, Circuits) but NOT anything in unit three or beyond (Magnetism, etc) . \nFor the upcoming week: \n1) In the google drive there is a folder titled “Semester 2 Review”. In this folder are practice tests. So try a test or two! Focus on E&M mostly, but consider Mechanics too. \n2) Online there are plenty of review materials (AP Central through the College Board, Kahn Academy, etc. ) that you can use to review the materials (and complete practice problems) . \n3) More formal review activities to be announced soon – but right now the best thing you can do is stay current with your knowledge and skills. \nStay healthy!","cbCaitd4D8cVJJP1","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaitd4D8cVJJP1","pdf",228312,"English","# Exam schedule and format changes\n## Reduced test coverage\n# Preparation plan for the coming week\n## Practice tests in Google Drive\n## Online review resources\n## Ongoing knowledge and skills","[{\"question\":\"What changes were announced for the AP Physics exams?\",\"answer\":\"The exams will take place with modifications, including two different selectable exam dates, shorter 45-minute exams, and an online/remote format with Free Response questions likely being emphasized.\"},{\"question\":\"Which topics are excluded from the AP Physics C Mechanics test?\",\"answer\":\"Mechanics will cover everything from the first semester except oscillations (springs, pendula) and gravitation, including the Universal Law of Gravitation and related applications.\"},{\"question\":\"What content is included and excluded in the AP Physics C E\\u0026M test?\",\"answer\":\"E\\u0026M will cover everything from the first two units, including electrostatics topics, circuits, and related laws and components.
